Good on Disney Plus: Toy Story 4

Plot Summary:
Toy Story 4 picks up with Woody, Buzz and the other toys from Andy's room as they meet an old friend, make some new ones and try to find true happiness.

Review: 'Toy Story 4' a touching tale of purehearted beings in ...
Why It Makes My List:
In good Toy Story fashion, the film delivers consistent laughs with clever jokes, witty dialogue and just the right amount of silliness (i.e. Forky).  Though it addresses big topics like the pursuit of happiness, abandonment and selfless sacrifice, it wraps it up in a package that is both entertaining and emotionally rewarding.

Other Reasons to Watch:
  1. New Characters: While retaining most, if not all, of the original favorites, they added some great new characters that were both lovable and laughable.
  2. Good Story: The writers have put together a thoughtful, sincere script and story with a special romantic emphasis.
  3. Short & Sweet: With a 1 hour 38 minute runtime, this is not a substantial investment of time but is, nonetheless, emotionally satisfying.
Reason to Pass:
  1. Villain & Henchmen Can Be a Bit Creepy: While most of the characters are pretty friendly and colorful, the main villain and her puppet-like henchman are a little creepier than the need to be, in my opinion.
