Toy Story 4 picks up with Woody, Buzz and the other toys from Andy's room as they meet an old friend, make some new ones and try to find true happiness.
Why It Makes My List:
- New Characters: While retaining most, if not all, of the original favorites, they added some great new characters that were both lovable and laughable.
- Good Story: The writers have put together a thoughtful, sincere script and story with a special romantic emphasis.
- Short & Sweet: With a 1 hour 38 minute runtime, this is not a substantial investment of time but is, nonetheless, emotionally satisfying.
- Villain & Henchmen Can Be a Bit Creepy: While most of the characters are pretty friendly and colorful, the main villain and her puppet-like henchman are a little creepier than the need to be, in my opinion.
As always, I recommend checking out the IMDB.com Parents Guide just so that you are aware of any potentially objectionable material before deciding whether to watch it.
